The Hockinson School Board has released a preliminary summary of results from its online survey seeking input and ideas for improving the primary athletic field at Hockinson High School.
The Board received 482 responses to its nine-question multiple choice and short-answer survey, including 839 original comments. The survey took place at the end of April.
In February, Hockinson School District voters rejected a $1.5 million capital levy measure that would have funded installation of synthetic turf on the High School’s main athletic field.
Although synthetic turf, an option promoted by a local citizens group, did not meet with voter approval, the district is seeking a way to improve the field.
