National Geographic Bee

GeoBee is coming to HMS on Friday, January, 18. Students across the U.S. in grades four through eight compete to represent their school in the state and national competition.
During Home Base, each student will be asked a series of oral questions--prepared by the National Geographic Society--about geography by their teacher.
The top three finalists from Friday's competition will win Amazon gift cards of $25 $10, $10 respectively and advance to the final round on Tuesday, January 22, in the library.
The first place winner from Tuesday's final round will receive an Amazon gift card of $50 and the ability to participate in the Washington State GeoBee and possibly the national Bee in Washington DC.
The second place winner will receive an Amazon card for $25; the third place winner will earn a $10 amazon gift card.
