Every November, HHS Leadership Students organize a food drive to support our community’s families-in-need. This year’s drive will run from Tuesday, November 9 through Friday, November 19. Anyone in our community can donate to this special cause. Non-perishable food items can be sent with students or dropped off at collection boxes located in the entryway of the high school for the duration of the drive. Boxes are color coded to represent each class so donors can decide if they want to support our 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th Grade students in the race to collect the most food items!
Last year, students collected and donated over 2000+ donations to the Hockinson Care Closet. All food donations will be given to the Care Closet again this year. If you or your family are in need of assistance, please contact your school’s counselor. All requests will be kept confidential.
Different days have different themes, although donations of all kinds are accepted any day.

Friday Food Frenzy - Any kind of donation is great!
Boxed Food Days - Powdered mashed potatoes, Hamburger Helper, Cereal, Baking Mix (Bisquik), powdered milk, etc,
Protein Days - tuna, canned meat, peanut or other nut butter, canned beans
