Leadership starts with strong relationships. Students develop essential interpersonal skills such as active listening, empathy, effective communication, and conflict resolution. We believe that great leaders prioritize community and bring people together.

Our student leaders serve as the voice of the middle school student body. Representatives regularly attend local School Board Meetings to present updates, share school achievements, and report on current student activities, giving students real-world experience in civic engagement and public advocacy.

What does a good leader look like? In this course, students explore core leadership traits: integrity, responsibility, respect, and perseverance. Students strive to model these qualities every day in the classroom, hallways, and extracurricular activities.

Our class serves as the heartbeat of school culture! Leadership students take ownership of:

• Planning and hosting energizing School Assemblies.

• Designing and organizing themed Spirit Weeks.

• Creating engaging videos and media that showcase student life and campus activities.

• Designing inclusive events that bring fun and unity to the entire student body.

Throughout the year, students complete campus-wide projects aimed at spreading positivity, gratitude, and kindness. From motivational hallway banners, celebrating Unity Day, all staff recognition, and service projects in the community, our leaders actively work to make our school a warmer, more welcoming place for everyone.
