Being a small district allows Hockinson school communities to create memorable traditions, such as the Fire District 3 spraydown for 5th graders and senior car parade for HHS graduates. Another is the red carpet welcome and live music on the first day of school! While Buzz the Hornet added to the first day energy at HHES, HMS and HHS Bands set the tone for the 2025-26 school year by kicking off the morning with energy that had their classmates smiling as they walked onto campus. This first-day tradition would not be the same without our amazing student musicians who help bring it to life.
Music programs in Hockinson School District are supported by local EP&O levy funding approved by voters in 2022.
