In teh first few weeks of school, Hockinson students and staff completed their first safety drills of the year. Safety drills are important opportunities to practice a smooth, coordinated response in case of an emergency.

Students did an incredible job listening carefully, following directions, and practicing safety procedures.

Hockinson School District follows the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) to prepare for and respond to emergencies. The SRP provides common language and procedures that can be used across schools, law enforcement agencies, and first responders. Having a shared approach helps ensure everyone understands what actions to take during an emergency.
